Suzanne Turcotte

Suzanne Turcotte is a partner at Sennott, Williams and Rogers, leading the corporate and commercial group. Suzanne provides transactional and strategic legal advice in the areas of commercial, corporate, private equity, media, licensing, and consumer goods. Suzanne has extensive experience in handling multipart transactions in luxury, AI, entertainment, hospitality, fashion, and technology. She represents numerous branded consumer products in the food, jewelry, clothing, entertainment, home goods, robotics, and technology industries from innovation to launch. In addition, Suzanne designs and implements data privacy policies for both national and international companies across a variety of platforms, including GDPR, HIPAA, IoT, social media, and digital marketing.

Suzanne served as in-house counsel to SharkNinja, heading the corporate and commercial global legal group, and as general counsel and CAO at Alex & Ani, she managed legal support for national and international retail store development, IP protection, licensing, and commercial operations. As corporate counsel for Cookson, Suzanne worked on the sale of its precious metal and jewelry division to Berkshire Hathaway. She also oversaw the creation and launch of a gourmet food and cooking lifestyle line sold at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, and Marshall Fields, as well as an exclusive licensed line at over 2,500 Target stores. 

Suzanne has provided legal support for the execution of various media, marketing and merchandising ventures with a diversity of creative personalities and celebrities. As corporate counsel and president of Ming East-West LLC, she produced and provided legal counsel to the television production Simply Ming (PBS) and the Emmy Award-winning Food Network show East Meets West.

Suzanne has been invited to participate in a variety of panels, including the Luxury Law Seminar, Rhode Island Bar Association Annual Meeting, and Locke Lord Entrepreneurship Seminar. Suzanne holds a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and a B.A. in International Political Economies from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a member of the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Federal bars, and is honored to serve as a board member to Crossroads RI.
